RAF Fordson WOT1 Foam Tender.

The WW11 Fordson WOT1 6X4-3ton (Weeton-type) Foam Tender was introduced into the Royal Air Force during 1942 with approximately 350 being assembled at the plant at Weeton. The foam tender carried 300 gallons of water and 28 gallons of compound. The Fordson/Weeton model in 1/76 scale is produced by BW Models and is seen here standing along side the Willys Jeep introduced to the RAF as an Aircraft Crash Rescue vehicle in 1944 in the 1/72 scale by Airfix.
The RAF fire station model is typical of the period and is scratchbuilt using plasti-card and is in 1/76 scale.
The figures in the diarama in 1/76 scale are from Airfix.
