Lovely detailed model John.

Smashing model, I remember this appliance, it was later converted to carry a 45'ladder.
It really needs an Oxford diecast Somerset Land Rover to be parked next to it, and a picture of Radstock fire station in the background.
A lovely bit of nostalgia here, thanks John.

Great effort John fantastic detailing. Did you base it on the photos of the actual appliance on the Fire Engine photos site or do you have photos of the actual appliance?. Its sister 22FYD still exists and still lives on its old fireground in Wells.

Well done excellent piece of modelling.

well turned out piece of modelling on a very classic appliance. To me the time scale from the late 1940's onwards to the late 1960's is the epitome of UK Fire appliances ( even though I cut my teeth so to speak on the venerable series 3 scanny ). Well done again!
