City Centre fire station

My collection of 1/76 fire appliances is based around a small city fire brigade from the 1950s/60s. Station 1 (Central) is scratch-built from mounting card and covered in brick paper with Downesglaze windows (appliance room doors have been added since this photo was taken). The line-up is AEC pump (Oxford), Dennis pump escape (Highways kit), Leyland turntable ladder (Oxford), Austin salvage tender (Oxford), Bedford heavy pump (Oxford, awaiting conversion into ET), Landrover L4V (Oxford), Austin BA control van (Base).

Very nostalgic. That station's probably down to 2 pumps at the most nowadays!
