Keymer Fire Brigade.
The Keymer Volunteer Fire Brigade was established in 1936 and the fire station was built by the local community on land donated by a local landowner for the sole purpose of building a fire station for the local community.
I've submitted this second picture because it shows in more detail a better view of how tiny this typical rural fire station was before it was finally shut down in March, 2011.
The fire station model is totally scratch built to 1.76 scale and shows how tight the modern fire appliance of today was for the old station.
The fire engine in the livery of West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service is a MAN/JDC just released by Oxford Diecast in their 1.76 scale.
